An Application Service Provider, or ASP, delivers, manages, and remotely hosts a software program on their server. The entire application resides on the web server including security, password protection, loan applications, contracts, interest rate tables and management reports. In an ASP model, there is no software to buy and install; the user only pays for each use of the application.
